Membership

RLYC operates as a Members' Club, and the two categories of membership open for applications are:

Ordinary Members

This category is divided into Individual or Corporate Membership. Ordinary members have access to both club and marina facilities.

Resident Members

Membership to this category is limited to residents of Langkawi or businesses based in Langkawi. The idea behind this category is to provide the Langkawi residents an exclusive and private meeting place, much like other social clubs. Resident Members are also divided into Individual or Corporate Members. However, Resident Members have access to Clubhouse facilities only.

Membership to RLYC includes account holder or nominees, spouse and children (below 18). All RLYC members are entitled to RLYC Club Card (for use on club premises only). RLYC membership is an investment due to its exclusivity and transferability. Membership fees levied by the Club appreciate over time and the number of members is limited to 500.

Members’ Discount

Club members are entitled to 40% discount at Charlie’s Place Restaurant & Bar, 40% discount at Captain’s Deck Restaurant, 20% discount at Marina berthing and a 10% discount for purchases at The Boatique.

Note: RLYC members wishing to visit affiliated clubs need to notify RLYC and obtain a Letter of Introduction.

We are constantly striving to make our Club a place of fun and relaxation for our members and their families, while ensuring that our members get maximum benefit out of their membership. In this vein, we are continuously approaching other clubs and associations for such affiliations, in order to further expand the benefits of our members.
