The Royal Langkawi Yacht Club provides its patrons the choice to sit back and relax in a calm ambience or be thrilled by the surrounding activities. While its dining outlets such as Charlie’s Place Restaurant & Bar and the Captain’s Deck Restaurant offer a wide choice of local and international food, there is also the Dewi Bayu Pool Bar at the swimming pool with nearby jacuzzi, shower rooms. Providing some distraction from the ocean’s draw is Hocus Pocus, comprising of The Boatique and offices of Simpson Marine, Sunsail and Blue Water Star Sailing.
Apart from the above facilities for rest and recreation, RLYC is mainly a marina with priority berthing for its members and ample berthing space for visiting boats.
For more activity, whether on land or water, RLYC can make arrangements for sailing trips to nearby islands or guests can refer to the various yacht charter operators within the club such as Sunsail, Simpson Marine and Blue Water Star Sailing. Simpson Marine is also a brokering agent for sale of new and pre-owned yachts. Alternatively, East Marine Holidays can organize diving trips to Pulau Payar Marine Park.
